I drank this soup every day for the last month to try and change my skin tone and give myself a healthy veggie tan. And get this, this was perfect. Yesterday, a good friend of mine who I hadn't seen in around a month asked me if I was using some sort of new skincare product, like some sort of bronzer. She said my skin was looking sort of like I was more tan, but also just more healthy and glowing. So that's one opinion, but I've been taking pictures every day so I can show you guys. For those of you just tuning in, we spent several videos last month looking at the science behind how carotenoids and vegetables like carrots, and tomatoes can actually make their way out through your sweat glands and into your skin, changing the color in a way that many different studies have shown is actually consistently rated as more attractive than an equivalent suntan. And we covered how there are ways of preparing these veggies to make those carotenoids better absorb, culminating in this tasty soup recipe, which I've been making big batches of every couple of weeks and then freezing them in mason jars. Then each morning, I've been heating up a nice little mason jar in the microwave and blending it with a scoop away protein to even out those macros. And the result is... change. They're a bit serial killer-y, but you can definitely see how I've gone from more of a pinkish hue towards more of a yellowish orange. What do you think? Better looking, worse? Either way, I do it for science. Should I keep going and see how big of a shift we can get? Would you do it? Let me know down below.
