There's one simple mistake you can make that could have your gains at the gym. And that's taking too much ibuprofen. Research show that when people took the full dose of ibuprofen for basically eight weeks while doing lots of leg quad exercises, they put on half the amount of muscle as those taking the placebo, because inflammation is necessary to actually break down and rebuild those muscle fibers.
