This Just In, a new study finds that individuals experience sex-specific symptoms before impending cardiac arrest. You can guess what that means. Oh yeah, it was really quite exciting. Our study analyzed emergency room calls with over 400 cardiac arrests, where someone was there to confirm the symptoms they felt beforehand. And get this! In men, the cardiac arrest was first associated with feeling symptoms of chest pain, shortness of breath and excess sweating. But in women, the only associated symptom was shortness of breath. What a sex difference.
